Business asset auctions are not just there to support businesses who are trying to raise funds as part of the liquidation process or due a restructure, as our latest auction is testament to.
Business owner Michael Moore, who has been in the industry for over 40 years, appointed BPI to support the disposal of his business assets, in order to allow him to retire and spend some quality time with his grandchildren.
The auction, which took place between June and July, included a wealth of vehicles and equipment, including:
- Volvo FH 500 Euro 6 Globetrotter
- FM 410 Euro 6 Tractor Unit, FE 250 Euro 6 Rigid Box Wagon
- Volvo B12B Sunsundegui 49-Seater Coach
- Iveco 50C-150 High Roof Van, Linde R16 S Forktruck
- Ratchet Straps and Chains Rig
- Heavy Duty Two Hammer Hydraulic Impact Wrench
- Kinshofer 331-1000 Hydraulic Grab Crane Attachment
The auction was a huge success, selling all items and achieving 42% above reserve.
Marcus Smith, Chief Commercial Officer at BPI Auctions said: “After a successful 40-year career, we were thrilled to work alongside Michael to help fund his retirement. The auction was very popular with our customers, which is unsurprising with the quality of items available, particularly with forklifts and commercial vehicles, which always garner a lot of interest among our bidders. We wish Michael and his family a long and happy retirement.”
